Oh please, who should they learn from 15 years ago? Name 11 companies? You have broken link to the 144-page-long document on how they come up with the framework. How is that for the evidence? Where is you 144-page-long research?

If you do not like the framework, just say that you do not like the framework. Do not devalue the work of people who did the job.

I admit I do not like when people force frameworks at me because I want to be creative and do everything my way, using my own internal mental models, structures, and representations. But then I need to communicate to teams, and stakeholders, simple tools like DD suddenly become handy to unmess the mess and get something do.
